The private label brand is determined by great connections within the beauty and fashion industry. However, apart from assured connections being provided, relationships should be built. For a brand to be successful there must be successful relationships with buyers, distributors, private label manufacturers and designers. With the right provider of exceptional private label solutions, you will have the perfect bridge to move your brand into a network where it will be supported and where the created relationships will not only flourish but be cultivated.

You should avoid trying to begin a fashion line or other brand before securing professional representation in the market you are targeting, for instance the beauty and fashion industry. With the right experts, your life will be much easier and will definitely make the brand you come up with shine.

As such, for private label solution providers, you must understand whether they offer free consultation through experienced specialists who engage in all the necessary steps for the private label brand. The specialist ensures all contract details have been explained; help clarify the way production orders takes place while at the same time sharing all the huge advantages of their exceptional services.  Viviona is such a boutique private label studio whom you can trust!

The first thing you need to discuss with the experienced specialist during the consultation is the design of your brand. You can provide a personally developed production ready design or seek inspiration from the professional designs from the huge number of manufacturers the specialist will show you. You should be given a chance to browse a number of the products through categories for some sense of the beauty design and creative fashion ideas.

The pre-production samples should be provided since the brand image to define you is extremely important. The manufacturers should provide high quality design prototypes, such as cosmetics, gowns or feminine swim suits for you to approve right before production has taken place.

After an approval of the samples, the production stage will commence. This is a very important process and you should enquire what the production line procedure entails. You should be assured of quality control since the finished products' integrity is very important to the manufacturer's quality control team. The highest level of satisfaction on your part should be their top priority right from the beginning.

This process of production should be guided through into a successful launch via very particular marketing packages. This includes pro email and e-commerce design campaigns and even photo shoots to make sure thousands of salons, spas, boutiques, fashion industry and beauty stakeholders have got the word about your unique brand. With the right manufacturers, your brand will be marketed across the world, not only in the United States.

The reputation of your private label brand should be guaranteed and supported by utmost expertise and professionalism that the demanding beauty and fashion industries expect. All backstage and behind the scenes actions will be done for you and your cosmetic and high fashion creativity will be put in the right spotlight it deserves. The selvage denim, swimsuits plus other unique designs worthy of the best international fashion runways will then be represented enviably with style and class.

Other than the inauguration, Jason Wu's name is probably the very next hot topic.  A red velvet dress on the first lady amplified her elegance and class.  And this is not her first occasion to wear his designs.  He is absolutely our first lady's favorite designer.  and no doubt the best.  His designs are fresh, light and yet sophisticated.  Bravo!

“Often the difference between a successful person and a failure is not one has better abilities or ideas, but the courage that one has to bet on one’s ideas, to take a calculated risk – to act.” – French Historian, Statesman, and Novelist, Andre Malraux.

Only one short year ago I developed the idea to launch my own clothing brand, Anchored Style. I was terrified of the undertaking, but more scared of not taking the risk to fulfill my dream.  So with the quiet buzzing of an idea in my head, the electricity of fear beneath my skin, and the knowing thump of my heart pushing me to take a chance, I threw myself into developing my line of surfer-prep apparel. In seven short months I had the product off the ground and selling in stores and on 11 college campuses around the U.S. Here’s how I did it, all in under a year.

Eat, Drink, and Sleep your market

Immerse yourself in the lifestyle you want your product to appeal to   Finding out exactly who your market is will and can be one of the hardest parts, but if you surround yourself with your desired customer you will find out exactly who they are and what they want. Your desired market could end up very differently than you had originally planned, or spot on.  My goal was to design a line that focused on the nautical world with a surfer-preppy style. So, I took a part-time job selling boat shoes at a Sperry Top-Sider store.  I also took up sailing with members of a local yacht club, learned the lingo and the sport.  Living the lifestyle is easier than you think.  I feel is it important to be authentic.

Read & Research

Then read and research some more.  Read as many business books, magazines, journals, websites, and blogs as you can get your hands on.  Read absolutely everything you can about your market; watch broadcasts, newscasts, and financial programs; visit with local entrepreneurs.  It is beyond important to know what and who you are up against, and how you will make your product stand out against others.  There is a wealth of resources to help you get your product going.  You’ll build knowledge and gain inspiration. And don’t forget to take the time to research the products of young entrepreneurs like yourself.  One of the most important things to remember during this process is that others have been through, or are currently going through exactly what you are.  You will gain a lot of insight and help from their stories. My two favorite must reads are Three Feet from Gold & The Tipping Point. Two of my favorite magazines – Entrepreneur &  Inc. All of these materials helped me on my journey.

Network

Everyone knows someone who knows someone, which will often lead you to a great connection.  Talk about what you are doing when you are engaged in everyday conversation and connections will fall into place.  If you don’t promote your venture, you can’t expect anyone else to. You are your own best PR representative and no one will speak as passionately about your product as you do.  And don’t forget about the importance of social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter; they are the easiest way to make your product visible, not to mention they are free!

Get a Mentor

Utilize SCORE, a Resource Partner with the Small Business Administration that offers free and confidential mentoring through online and face-to-face meetings. I looked up the government website, found my local chapter, and booked my first appointment. They gave me guidance and helped by holding me accountable to developing my business plan at the same time. As I developed my plan I was also busy preparing for each meeting with them.  I spent three months researching, writing, and editing my plan. Even now, I’m updating, and editing all over again.

Surround Yourself With Friends & Family

Remember, becoming an entrepreneur is no 9 to 5 gig, and it is important for you to have people who support your venture and your time schedule.  And don’t be afraid to ask those people for help – your friends and family have a vast amount of talents and knowledge and will probably be ecstatic to get involved and offer their help to you.

Experience

It is always a good thing.  Every short-lived job with a start-up company or stint with a corporate company will build your portfolio of knowledge.  One of the main reasons I have been able to successfully launch my brand in such a short time is because of my background in the fashion industry. Each job with a new brand of a large retailer has given me the knowledge of what to do, and most importantly – what not to do.

Confidence

Everyone needs it, especially yotu! Without confidence in yourself and your brand, consumers aren’t likely to have confidence in your product either.  You are your number one sales person and when you believe in yourself, your passion and confidence are sure to show through the attention to detail in your product, and through a glimmer in your eye.

Most importantly, remember this - No risk = No reward

You have to keep faith in yourself, and don’t stop.  Take the chance and don’t be afraid to do it.  Sure it’s hard but if it was easy, everyone else would be doing it.

Remember, in the words of Arnold H. Glasglow, “An idea not coupled with action will never get any bigger than the brain cell it occupied.” So get out there and cultivate your brand.

So much of the Internet is about connecting with people but sometimes we spend so much time trying to reach people across the globe that we can forget about our own local community.

There has been a big push toward local focused sites like foursquare, facebook places, and of course Groupon. These sites are all about where you live and how to bring your Internet life and connect it with your real one. But the question remains, how can you harness your own local power?

1. Get involved in your real community:

No this is nothing new but I cannot stress the importance of going out and being a part of your industry focused groups. It doesn’t matter where you live, there will always be people who are interested in whatever it is that you are doing, and if there isn’t start one yourself as this will give you credibility and show that you are a self starter.

2. Give back:

Giving back to your local community can be a great way to show how much you love where you live, give you great publicity, and just flat out make you feel great. If you are web designer why not design a website for a local nonprofit? A great example is a friend of mine is a visual storyteller (@VoteMikeJones) and he is giving back to Oklahoma City by creating 5commercials5days.com where businesses and nonprofits can be in the running for having a commercial made for their organization or business. This is a great idea because it showcases what he does but also gives back to the community that has made him a success.

In the 2 weeks that people were voting on the businesses he received over 7,500 votes, 12K visits, 24K page views and a local news story. Hows that for some coverage?

3. Locals Only Events:

This is a great one for any business. Pick a place and a day and have a party for your local customers. There really isn’t a whole lot to it and it is always a great time. Again this shows that you recognize the people that really support you and that you really appreciate them for their business.

4. Local Opinions:

Getting the locals opinions if you are a blogger can be more valuable than you think. There are a ton of big named bloggers who are from New York and California but the fact is that there are 48 other states with all different types of opinions.

A way to get your local community involved would be to set up a section on your blog that is solely dedicated to the “local soup”. This shows that even though you connect with people far and wide, you are still from (insert place here) and that you still care about their opinion because without them you wouldn’t be where you are today (everyone has to start somewhere).

5. Social Networking
:Networking events can be great if they have the right mix of people as well as the right agenda. Social Networking allows you to take your local relationships online and build them into something even better. We all know that the power of social media cannot be underestimated, but this also includes connecting with people through social media in your local community as well.
How to local businesses in your community keep their customers engaged and how do you support them?

If you have a Facebook Page that lacks the required amount of Fans you desire, you should read this. Your page is lacking fans either because you are not promoting the page or because what you are offering is not what people need. In whichever way, your aim should be to always increase the number of fans you have for your Facebook Page.

These are some of the things you should do.

1. Place a Link to Your Page on Your Blog or Website.

You can place a link to your fan page on your blog or website either in the area where you also have an RSS button, or at the bottom of your posts, where readers are more likely to engage with you after reading your content.

2. Place a Facebook Page Widget on Your Blog or Website

There are a number of things you can do on your blog itself to increase your Facebook fan base. To do this, you can make use of any of the following Facebook page widgets.

The Fan Box

You can create what is called a “Fan Box”. A Fan Box is a widget that you can display on your blog that shows either your latest updates, pictures of your fans, or both at the same time. On the right hand side of my blog, you can see my personal fan box.

The Share Button

On your blog posts, you can insert a button that will share your post to the friends on Facebook of whoever clicks on it. It’s sort of like the Tweetmeme / Retweet button, which you can see at the top of this post on the left hand side. I have yet to try this out, but I might incorporate it into my next design. As far as this kind of “push-button sharing” is concerned, more people are using Twitter instead of Facebook, at least for now.

All of these Facebook sharing devices/widgets (and more), can be found here on the Facebook Widget Page

3. Place a Link to Your Page in any Forum Signatures You Have.

Make sure to take advantage of your presence on forums related to your niche by placing a link to your Page in your signature, so it’s done automatically for you after each of your posts. Take advantage of html to make a nice looking anchor text (preferably with a call to action), back to your Facebook Page.

4. Include a Link in Any Videos or Guest Posts You Do

Any video you do for your blog or the ones you place on youtube should have a link to your Facebook Fan page. With these, people that watch your videos will readily click on the link and become your fan. Also, guest post should contain a link to your Fan page. This is one of the best way you should incorporate immediately if you have a Fan page and you guest post on other people’s blog.

5. Advertising Your Page on Faceboook.

It does cost money, but you can get highly-targeted followers to your Page and blog/website by advertising your Facebook Page with Facebook. Considering the number of people that comes on Facebook daily looking for friends, they can easily become your Fan through the adverts you place on Facebook. If you need help on how to advertise your page on Facebook, you should read Facebook PPC Marketing. It will help you a lot.

6. Place the link to Your Facebook Page on your Business Cards

When next you are designing your business cards, make it a duty to place the link to your Facebook Page on the business cards. That would grow your Fan base a lot.

7. Tell everyone who cares to listen about Facebook and how they can become a Fan of your page.

These seven keys/points have been proven and they work. You too should deploy them for your Facebook Fan Page and when you start to see results flowing in, do not forget to recommend this post to your friends that may want to create a Facebook page for their business or the businesses they represent.

To this end, if you have more than 3, 000 fans on your Facebook page, I would be glad to know what you did to get that huge amount of Fans. This would also help as many people who reads this post. To do that, you should make use of the comment box provided further below.

To your Facebook Success.

Building a brand is all about getting the word out.  It doesn’t matter if you have the most fabulous product or service if nobody knows about it.  If you want more people to hear about your company you need to start telling you story as often as possible.  Make your story compelling enough and people might just tell their friends.

Start with a Problem

Great companies solve a problem in the eyes of the consumer.  The bigger you make the problem sound the better story it makes.  This is the story that consumers tell themselves every time they make a purchase  and it’s the one they tell their friends about your product or service.

Take any As Seen on TV product, most aren’t absolute necessities to everyday life, but those commercials tell a pretty good story.  Next thing you know it’s 4AM and they have you convinced that you have been having problems slicing tomatoes all your life.  Now when your friends come over, you’ll be telling them how much of a hassle slicing tomatoes was and how you could never live without it.

Tell Your Story Early and Often

Looking to do some market research on your newest business venture?  Make up your story now and tell it to as many people as possible. If the story is well received than you have a much better chance of ever making it to market.  The more people you tell the story to the better–get feedback, learn how to answer tough questions, perfect your pitch and practice persuading those in doubt.

The more people you tell your story to the better chance it has at spreading.  You never know who you’ll meet when you are out planting seeds.  Each person you talk to has the potential to introduce you to someone, or tell your story to a friend.  Every seed you plant has the ability to help spread that story.

You’ll Never Get Discovered Hiding in your Basement

Want to meet your significant other? Get out there.  Want to make a name for yourself? Get out there.  In the old days, celebrity entrepreneurs were the only ones to launch a brand around their stardom.  They controlled the big stage and because they had thousands of followers to tell their story to.  Today, everyday people are launching brands easier than ever, growing their followings online and telling their story over and over.  Better yet, this story has the ability to spread with the click of a button via social media.

Steal these Strategies to Tell Your Story

Start a blog: write good content and people will read.  Write really good content and it’ll go viral.

Network on Twitter: every person you connect with on Twitter has the chance to hear your story. Tell it in 140 characters.

Get on Camera: host a uStream chat, post your videos on your blog, or start your own show.  Broadcast your story to the world!

Connect on Facebook, LinkedIN or Under30CEO.net and make your profile tell a story!
